Interview Discussion and Self-Reflection

Our group had a meeting before the interview session on the second day, mainly focusing on the course structure and content and reflecting on our performance and learning in this course. And we put the summarized content into the doc, and this part will be sent to the teacher uniformly by the team leader.



And in the evening, we received replies to questions arising from group assessment.





After reading the professor's reply, I think this process of reflection is essential. The self-assessment that we understood initially was entirely based on our contribution to the group work, so this process bothered us, and we thought it is difficult for us to give different scores. But after communicating with the professor, we learned that everyone has their considerations when making choices. Just like you go to a company for an interview, the boss may only value a specific aspect. The people who come to the interview are all good, but they won't be admitted simultaneously. In the same way, in the self-assessment process, we can judge what everyone lacks and what can be improved through different categories, which is also helpful for our future study work.

Writing Assignment Discussion

Barry pointed out some important matters which related with contents and layout.



After listening to Barry's suggestions, I found that I have a lot to improve. First of all, the biggest problem is that I did not mention why I am interested in a specific profession, and the motivation is not clear. Secondly, when describing the personal situation, I did not think of the spirit of the company and the aspects that fit with me.


My articles are relatively mediocre, and I should use heartfelt stories and passion for the profession to impress each other.

Meanwhile, i am more familiar with the differences between traditional Design-Tender-Contractor Procurement Method and Design&Build Procurement Method.

This question refer to Development Bureau - Technical Circular (Works) No. 4/2020 -Tree Preservation. And the correct answers are: Ask if the new design is already fixed or can changes still be made?, Say you can do it, and ask for the related documents to be supplied.

Today’s class is about Be A Boss, we conducted our first mini-quiz today. I got 6.1 out of 10 in this quiz. And I got the corresponding answer to the wrong question. One question is quite impressive and our teammate had a heated discussion.
